After the moisture and oils have been thoroughly removed from green bamboo, it is further de-greened by exposure to sunlight, and is now in a state suitable for long-term storage and viewing. This is called "white bamboo." You can enjoy the process of white bamboo gradually gaining color and luster over the years, along with the changing flowers of the seasons.

Following the techniques and aesthetic sense of traditional bamboo basket making, he creates works that evoke the contemporary era, focusing on everyday tools, tea ceremony utensils, and bamboo crafts.
He has been selected for the Eastern Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition for two consecutive years, and his work "Sensujimoriki" is in the collection of the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne.
