Koji Takuma × Takeshi Tsujino
Exhibition

MIN GALLERY will be holding a two-person exhibition by precious stone sculptor Koji Takuma and glass artist Tsuyoshi Tsujino. Although they use crystal and glass, which are seemingly different materials, this exhibition is a wonderful intersection of the ideas and techniques of each artist.

Koji Takuma sculpts quartz, a hard and transparent material, to create a sense of stillness as well as a strong sense of tension in the viewer, and to convey a story hidden within the material.

On the other hand, Tsuyoshi Tsujino transforms even accidental elements such as air bubbles and distortions in glass into aesthetic expressions, further bringing out the natural beauty of the glass itself.

Through their deep understanding of materials and their inquisitiveness in the shaping process, both artists are able to transcend mere physical beauty and breathe life into their works.

We hope you will take this opportunity to visit our gallery.
