KAYO SAITO × YUMIKO MIYAHAMA
Exhibition
MIN GALLERY will be holding a two-person exhibition by jewelry artist Saito Kayo and photographer Miyahama Yumiko.
"Like mycelium that spreads deep underground, there are countless invisible connections in this world."
In this exhibition, two artists who look at the world through different methods will quietly shed light on the complex and organic "depth of connection" between life and time, land and memory, and ourselves and others through their works.
Jewelry artist Kayo Saito focuses on minute life forms and, through the material metal, gives them form that resonates with the rhythms and structures of the natural world.
Photographer Miyahama Yumiko sheds light on the layers of time that lie deep within the landscape and the memories that permeate the land, visualizing these presences not as "records" but as "images of memory."
It would be my great pleasure if this exhibition would allow you to experience a moment of gentle contact with the invisible knot that connects us to the world.
