MIN GALLERY is pleased to announce "Formation," an exhibition featuring minerals and stones.
The term "Formation" encompasses both the process by which shapes are created over a long period in nature, and the forms that emerge from that process.
Through the gemstone sculptures of Koji Takuma, the fine minerals collected by Kazuto Kameda, and the earth-themed photography of Yumiko Miyahama, our gallery has previously introduced the process by which materials acquire form and the shapes that emerge from it.
This exhibition takes "Formation" as its central theme, showcasing works created on different scales with the cooperation of seven artists and collectors.
Shapes created by nature, and shapes brought forth by human hands.
We hope you will quietly contemplate the diverse expressions that arise in the space between them.
