We will be hosting an opening reception to welcome the two artists. On the day, we will be serving butter sandwich brand (NO) RAISIN SANDWICH (limited quantities) and Koshu wine. This is a great opportunity, so please come along.

MIN GALLERY will be holding a special exhibition titled " Traces -The Trajectory of Time- " by polishing artisan Canna Oshiro and botanical perfumer Chiyo Ibe.
In this exhibition, the two artists use the different materials of "stone" and "fragrance" to express "reverberation" through what is both visible and sensible, tracing the trajectory of time.
The stones, polished by Canna Oshiro using the traditional Kofu technique of "hand polishing", sublimate the memories that nature has accumulated over a long period of time into a radiance. The beauty of the geometric cuts , an entity that reflects time itself.
On the other hand, the fragrances designed by Ibe Chiyo ( HORTENCE ) suddenly awaken memories and emotions that have been nearly forgotten in everyday life, gently stirring up the traces of time that lie dormant deep in the heart.
Perhaps what each of them asks us is the depth of the traces left behind by the intangible presence of "light and presence." Please take this opportunity to visit.

PROFILE
Polishing craftsman Canna Oshiro
After working as a decoration and prop assistant in a commercial film, he studied under first-class gem polisher Yukio Shimizu and produced loose stones using the traditional Kofu technique of "hand grinding." He specializes in the dynamic and random expression that can only be achieved by the human hand. The facets created with a unique rhythm bring out the natural expression of the stone, unlike traditional fixed cuts.

Herbal Therapy Perfumer Chiyo Ibe
Graduated from Le Bois Phytotherapy School (certified by AMPP ( Association for the Promotion of Phytotherapy Medicine ) and the French Association for the Promotion of Phytotherapy Medicine) Premier and Progress Course 1, and obtained Phytolife Coordinator/Phyto Advisor /AEAJ Aromatherapy Level 2 and Level 1 certifications. He travels between Tokyo and Fukuoka and is active in a wide range of fields, including working on galleries, events, and creating fragrances for original products.
