A sooted bamboo confectionery cutter inspired by the stars twinkling in the evening sky.

"Soot bamboo" is bamboo that was used to make thatched roofs of old houses, and it naturally took on a color while being smoked by the smoke from the hearth for 100 to 200 years. Nowadays, high-quality soot bamboo is becoming rare.

The gold leaf is applied with lacquer, polished, and then coated with lacquer every few days. The elegant sparkle of the gold leaf combined with the sooted bamboo will make your daily tea time special. It can also be used for Japanese sweets, raw chocolate, and pound cake.
