Introducing the exhibiting artists

Koji Takuma @kojitakuma
A traditional craftsman of Koshu crystal and precious stone work. As a precious stone sculptor, he combines modern sensibilities with traditional techniques handed down from ancient times, and is constantly releasing new works, such as fusing the characteristics of the stone with metal processing. This time, he will be unveiling a new straight glass "Garden" made from crystals from all over the world.

Toru Hatsuta @toruhatsuta
Following the techniques and aesthetic sense of traditional bamboo baskets, he creates works that give a sense of the "modern" time, centering on everyday tools, tea ceremony tools, and bamboo craftwork. This time, you can see his new work "Translucent Ajiro Woven Flower Basket" as well as a tea scoop.

Takeshi Tsujino @takeshi_tsujino
He studied industrial design and glass craft at a vocational school, then moved to the United States. His work is based on the techniques of Venetian glass, and is characterized by the unique texture he creates by layering colors on clear glass. This time, he is creating a piece that reproduces the texture of ancient glass. Let us introduce you to "abyss".

kayo saito / Kayo Saito @kayosaitojewellery
A multi-award-winning Japanese designer based in the UK after graduating with a Master's degree from the Royal College of Art, a national art university in London. Inspired by the vitality and transience of natural and organic objects, he creates sculptural works that exude a unique delicacy.

Sayumi Yokouchi @sayumi_yokouchi
In 1990, she moved to the United States and completed her Master of Fine Arts in Metal Arts at the State University of New York, New Paltz. Based in New York, she gained experience in the fields of craft, jewelry, and design, and has expanded into a wide range of areas, including the presentation of her own works, collaborations with various creators, and custom jewelry design. This time, she will exhibit "RING MY BELLS," which goes beyond the functionality of a ring and allows you to enjoy sound as an object.

Miki Asai  @miki__asai
After graduating from Musashino Art University, he studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and Glasgow School of Art before returning to Japan in 2017. He has been actively presenting new works, having been selected for Schmuck, Talente, etc., and receiving a special mention in the LOEWE FOUNDATION CRAFT PRIZE 2024.
Through repeated material experiments, she finds her own meaning in the characteristics of the material and connects them to her own themes and stories. This time, she will be developing jewelry that expresses a piece of the ever-changing world, a fleeting beauty.

Misato Seki @misato.seki
She majored in lacquer art at the Department of Crafts, Tokyo University of the Arts. Her graduation project, a wearable lacquer art piece, won a purchase award, and since then, she has consistently used lacquer to create contemporary jewelry that questions the relationship between the body and accessories. She uses traditional lacquer techniques such as maki-e, raden, and lacquer to express modern decorative art, and in 2019, her work "slit" won the grand prize at Schmuck, the world's largest contemporary jewelry competition. She currently has an atelier in Kanagawa Prefecture and is actively exhibiting her works both in Japan and abroad.

kasetsu / Kasetsu @kasetsu_sho
Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1975. Currently living in Tokyo. Graduated from Ritsumeikan University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Philosophy, Majoring in Psychology. Started holding solo exhibitions focusing on single-character calligraphy in 1992. As a child, when she started learning calligraphy, she encountered a Chinese-Japanese dictionary created by East Asian character culture researcher Shirakawa Shizuka, and became interested in the origin and formation of Chinese characters. Her style was also formed through interaction with Abstract Expressionism, and was greatly influenced by the avant-garde calligraphy that emerged in Japan after World War II. This time, she will exhibit "Clouds" (2024), "Wind" (2024), and "Flowers" (2025), which are based on the theme of "transition," which she has been working on in recent years.
