A travel tea scoop made from sooted bamboo.

"Soot bamboo" is bamboo that was used to make thatched roofs of old houses, and it naturally took on a color while being smoked by the smoke from the hearth for 100 to 200 years. Nowadays, high-quality soot bamboo is becoming rare.

The tea scoop is sized to fit inside a tea box, but it can also be stored in the box and taken with you on trips, or used daily during tea time. Enjoy the travel tea scoop, which changes its appearance depending on the time and place, indoors or outdoors, along with your favorite scenery.

For long-term use: This product is for use with matcha only. It cannot be used with other seasonings, foods, drinks, etc.
The teacup will deform if it gets wet or heated. It cannot be washed, so after use, lightly wipe the matcha off with a soft, dry cloth before storing.
